What is First and Last Frame AI Video?
Upload a first photo and a last photo, describe the motion, and Lovino builds a short clip that starts on the first and ends on the last. Pick a model that takes an end photo, such as Seedance 2.0 Fast, Kling 2.5 Turbo Pro or MiniMax H3. Video uses paid credits, and the price shows before you generate.
How to use First and Last Frame AI Video

- 01
Add the first photo
This photo is the start of the clip. Pick a sharp one with a clear subject.
- 02
Add the last photo
This is where the clip should end. Use a photo the same shape as the first, with the same subject and framing.
- 03
Describe the motion and pick a model
Say what happens between the two photos, such as a lid opening or the light changing. Choose a model that takes an end photo: Seedance 2.0 Fast, Kling 2.5 Turbo Pro or MiniMax H3. Auto mode does not take one.
- 04
Generate and download
Check the credit cost, then generate. The clip starts on your first photo and ends on your last one.

Both photos are AI-made test images. Every clip below was made from the same two photos and the same prompt, each on a different model. They are real outputs from our own tests.

Start and end frame video AI for reveals
A start and end frame clip gives the model both ends of the move. You supply the first photo and the last photo. The model invents the motion between them.
That suits reveals: a closed box that opens, an empty plate that fills, a sketch that becomes a finished piece. The three clips above show one reveal on three different models.
AI transition video between two photos
A transition works best when both photos show the same subject from the same angle and one thing changes, such as the light, the season, the pose or the state of an object. Two very different photos force the model to invent a big jump, and the middle tends to look less natural.
- Use two photos of the same shape, so neither has to be cropped.
- Change one thing between them.
- Describe the move in the prompt, not the photos. The photos already show what is there.
Which models take an end frame
Five models do: Seedance 2.0 Fast, Seedance 2.0, Seedance 2.5, Kling 2.5 Turbo Pro and MiniMax H3. Seedance 2.0 Fast needs only paid credits. The other four also need a paid plan. MiniMax H3 takes an end photo at 768p only.
What it costs
Video uses paid credits, like all video on Lovino. The 3 free daily credits cover image tools only. Credits come from a plan (from $7.99 a month). Anyone can buy a credit pack, with or without a plan. A starter pack is $2.99 for 15 credits. The lowest price for a clip with an end photo is 9 credits, for 5 seconds at 480p on Seedance 2.0 Fast. Longer and sharper clips cost more.

Prices are the lowest per clip, for 5 seconds at the lowest resolution. The exact price shows before you generate.

| Models | Lets you pick from five models that take an end photo | Take an end photo on Auto mode |

What it can't do
- It is not free. Video needs paid credits, and Kling 2.5 Turbo Pro, Seedance 2.0, Seedance 2.5 and MiniMax H3 also need a paid plan.
- You set the two ends, not the middle. The motion between them is the model's guess, so two runs can differ.
- Auto mode cannot take an end photo. You pick the model yourself.
- MiniMax H3 takes an end photo at 768p only, not at 2K.
- Seedance models refuse a start photo that shows a human face.
- Photos are checked before upload, and a photo that breaks the content rules is blocked.

Questions, answered.
Is first and last frame AI video free?
No. Video uses paid credits, so the 3 free daily credits do not cover it. The lowest price is 9 credits for a 5 second clip at 480p on Seedance 2.0 Fast, and the price shows before you generate. Credits come from a paid plan or a credit pack: plans start at $7.99 a month, and a starter pack is $2.99 for 15 credits.
Which AI video models take a first and last frame?
Five: Seedance 2.0 Fast, Seedance 2.0, Seedance 2.5, Kling 2.5 Turbo Pro and MiniMax H3. Seedance 2.0 Fast needs only paid credits. The other four also need a paid plan. Auto mode does not take an end photo, so pick a model first.
How do I make a video from two photos?
Open the video composer, choose a model that takes an end frame, and add your first photo. An end photo row then appears. Add your last photo, describe the motion and generate.
Does the clip really end on my last photo?
That is how it is built, and our checks agree. In our test runs on Seedance 2.0 Fast, Kling 2.5 Turbo Pro and MiniMax H3, the last frame of the clip matched the end photo. What happens in between is the model's guess, so two runs can differ.
How long can the clip be?
Seedance 2.0 Fast and MiniMax H3 offer 5, 10 or 15 second clips. Longer clips cost more credits, and the exact price shows before you generate.
What should the two photos look like?
Make them the same shape. The app asks for an end photo the same shape as the start photo. Keep the subject and camera angle the same and change one thing, such as the lid, the light or the pose.
Can I use photos of people?
Seedance models refuse a start photo that shows a human face, so for photos of people try MiniMax H3. Only use photos of people who have agreed, and expect faces to drift a little as they move.
How is this different from image to video?
Image to video starts from one photo, and the model decides where the clip goes. Here you set both ends. Use image to video when you only have a starting photo.
